What Hotel?

What is the best hotel to stay at prior to cruise in Santo Dom.

we are staying at the Renaissance Jaragua in Santo Domingo for two nights prior to our February 10, 2007 cruise on Legend of the Seas. This is one of the hotels that Royal Caribbean is offering, but we booked directly through the Marriott website and are paying $80 per night rather than the considerably higher amount being charged by RCI. Even if you figure in the cost of transfers from the airport to hotel, hotel to ship, and ship to airport, we still will be saving a bit of money. Hilton and Marriott both have properties in Santo Domingo, so you might want to check out their websites to see what is available.
