Port Everglades - Caribbean and Emerald

Just a quick question.

Today there are two Princess ships at Port Everglades. The Caribbean Princess is at the normal terminal 2, but the Emerald is at terminal 4.

Has anyone ever embarked from terminal 4? I was just wondering what kind of facilities there are as far as indoor seating, etc.

I wonder how they decide which Princess ship gets the #2 terminal and which one goes somewhere else? During this busy time of year, it will not be uncommon to have two Princess ships in port at a time.

When we did the Coral this past April (r/t panama canal), we left from terminal 2, but when we came back we docked at terminal 4. The Star was in the berth before we got there. From what I remember from walking through there were seats inside just like terminal 2, and the waiting area actually seemed a bit bigger.

A crew member told me that we got terminal 4 because the Star was there first, so I guess there's no great science to it :)
