Civitavecchia port to FCO airport..10am flight possible?

Sorry to repeat a prior thread but trying to decide on flights TODAY. Ughhh...I'm so not an early bird but light sleeper so if we're awakened when docking, might as well get up and go. So how early will they allow us to depart the ship?

 

Will be staying in Rome 3 nights prior to cruise and wondering if we should stay another after, just to be safe.

We were on a cruise in Jun and did 5 days post-cruise in Firenze. Returned to Rome (Fumicino) where we spent the last night in Italy. Arrived at the airport prior to 6am and barely made our 8am flight.

I would not try to make such an early flight. You need to be at the airport by 8:00 AM for a 10:00 AM flight.
