We have the choice of either the Zuiderdam or Island Princess for a Ft. Lauderdale-Panama round trip itinerary next year. We may be fortunate enough to be upgraded to a suite or mini suite as well. Can someone who has sailed this itinerary on both ships (or similar) help us make the decision? I am not unaware that in general, Holland American costs more, which is not a problem, if you get your money's worth. Princess looks like it has 3 sea days in a row and stops in Ocho Rios (again). But it also stops in Columbia (Cartagena) which is appealing. In addition to hearing about the ships themselves, can you take a stab at which has the more attractive or exotic itinerary. THANKS!
