Weather in Europe end of April - early May

Has anyone ever been on the Lisbon to London Pride cruise at the end of April to early May? I am wondering how the weather is at that time of year. Cool is OK but rain can be a problem. Please let me know if you have had any experience in Europe that time of year.

From my experience, weather in early May in Europe can be "iffy". I'll be in Lisbon in early May and will pack a raincoat.:eek: Jack

You may be talking about highs in the 50/60's. Could be rainy or might not be the case.

I just wanted to add that in my opinion this is a great time of the year to cruise in Europe as it is far less crowded that time of the year then say the summer months. And if you prefer moderate temperatures while in port it's a great time as well.

Bring a rain poncho and a lightweight jacket. Seabourn provides umbrellas and disposible rain ponchos when needed. :)

We were on the Pride (during a most disasterous cruise) last May and weather was definitely cold. We missed a couple of ports due to weather/sea-related issues and a couple of ports due to problems with the ship itself. Definitely bring a raincoat and as others have said, Seabourn does provide umbrellas. HTH
