MSPCUBS Posted December 24, 2007 #1 Share Posted December 24, 2007 Going on a tour in January which includes the T. canal boat ride and banana plantation. I was wondering what clothes I should wear. Are shorts OK, or would capris be better? Thinking about mosquitos, heat, etc.
cruise_girl_too Posted December 26, 2007 #2 Share Posted December 26, 2007 It will be HOT! I'd take some repellant with you. And a good sunscreen. Other than that, wear lightweight clothing and enjoy!
mii Posted December 30, 2007 #3 Share Posted December 30, 2007 I was on that tour in Feb and it is very hot and humid. Wear shorts and by the way I was not bothered by mosquito's at all but just to be on the safe side take some repellent with you. marilyn
Rare loriva Posted December 30, 2007 #4 Share Posted December 30, 2007 We were in Limon earlier in December. It was on and off rain that day and not really hot at all. I had brought convertible pants--the kind where you can zip on a part to make the shorts into long pants. I kept them long all day and was very comfortable. It all depends on personal preference. If you are sensitive to heat, shorts would likely be the option. I wasn't bothered by mosquitos, but my husband found some. He's a magnet for them. Again, everyone is an individual!
