petesweet Posted December 27, 2007 #1 Share Posted December 27, 2007 Seems so often the NCL people are saying, "I'll never sail NCL any more; I'll go to RCCL where they appreciate me." Then the RCCL people say, "I'm going to NCL; no more RCCL for me! Probably the balance of passengers will stay the same when everyone makes the switch.:D
PH8 Posted December 27, 2007 #2 Share Posted December 27, 2007 Dont think NCL would be my first choice IF I ever went on another line than RCCL........ I would take Princess or Carnival.....
jeffs55 Posted December 27, 2007 #3 Share Posted December 27, 2007 So I guess we'll see. They seem to be very different products, although our upcoming RCI will be our first.

jeffs55 Posted December 28, 2007 #5 Share Posted December 28, 2007 Yeah Petesweet, I've never had a bad time on a ship, I simply adjust to the culture of that line.

emilygrace Posted December 28, 2007 #7 Share Posted December 28, 2007 Out of 10 cruises on 5 different cruise lines (all major ones), the one on NCL was my least favorite. And it was on a brand new ship! This is not to say I did not enjoy them all, but that one would still come in dead last.
tray Posted December 29, 2007 #8 Share Posted December 29, 2007 We've gone on 3 NCL cruises and 3 RCCL cruises and loved them both the same, for very different reasons. I think sometimes people compare too much and look too hard for things to 'dislike' between one cruise line and another....in my opinion they all have their strengths and weaknesses and they are ever evolving and changing!!
