NancyIL Posted December 30, 2007 #2 Share Posted December 30, 2007 We did a 2-hour float trip with Alaska Wildland Adventures, and we used a 2-for 1 coupon from TourSaver. I booked it a few months ahead because I was using a coupon. It was a nice way to spend a few hours on our last full day in Alaska - but 2 hours was plenty for me. Akkarebear Posted January 1, 2008 #3 Share Posted January 1, 2008 I have not done a float trip but do recommend booking in advance. All tours seem to fill up quickly.

GlacierLady Posted January 2, 2008 #5 Share Posted January 2, 2008 thanks for the replies. anyone with experience with the alaska horseman? I've gone riding there alot, many times on same day notice. Alex has a good group of horses. The Kenai Lake trail is pretty flat, except for through the woods which is a bit "rootsy". Do the mountain side if you've got any previous experince. Very pretty area. I've seen lots of bears and goats. ( in the distance of course...lol)
