We did a 2-hour float trip with Alaska Wildland Adventures, and we used a 2-for 1 coupon from TourSaver. I booked it a few months ahead because I was using a coupon. It was a nice way to spend a few hours on our last full day in Alaska - but 2 hours was plenty for me.

thanks for the replies. anyone with experience with the alaska horseman?

I've gone riding there alot, many times on same day notice. Alex has a good group of horses. The Kenai Lake trail is pretty flat, except for through the woods which is a bit "rootsy". Do the mountain side if you've got any previous experince. Very pretty area. I've seen lots of bears and goats. ( in the distance of course...lol)
