Freedom of the Seas-me and my daughter

Recommended Posts

You're right......one must be 21 to drink on RCCL........

Also, one must 18 to use the spa,but there is a spa program for 13-17 yr olds.

Generation YSPA YSPA: dedicated to serving the younger generation. Soothing massages, fitness classes, facials and more for guests ages 13 to 17.

The solarium is for 18 and older too.........

I thought the solarium is for 16 years and older at least it was on the Serenade or is it different on the FOS?

hmmmmmmmmm.......good question.........I thought it was 18.....

Ok,just did a search on here(we all know how well that works:p ).....some said 18,but the majority did say 16......

Either case, not 13....(for the OPs info)

Aha! Found the posts!

So let me get this straight. I can go in the spa during adult times.

She can go in during 13-17 y/o times.

But there is not time we can go in together?

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Also, 16-18 y/o allowed in "solarium." Is that the adult pool area?

Thanks for all the info :)

Sounds like the answer is no,but seeing as my kids are older,I dont want to say for sure......maybe someone with kids that age can say..

I have good news for you both. Try this: Last year on Serenade, my 12 year old daughter and I had a mother/daughter massage. It was so fun to be in the room together! I think they offered it for a special price one day so we took advantage of it. We giggled and relaxed....it was special. It was her first massage and now she is hooked! Although this was last July and she has not had one since, but it's all she talks about! Try that if they offer it! It is real "bonding time" :D

I am rather shocked that someone would suggest giving wine to a 13 year old. That's a good way to get kicked off the ship! No way would I do that with my (almost - in 2 weeks) 13 year old DD!

I would love to take a cruise with just DD and I. Maybe some day....
