We are 2 couples taking the Dover to Barcelona and looking for some private tour guides.. Has anyone used private guides in these ports...Le Havre ,Casablanca,Seville Lisbon

Stay away from private tours period! Our cruise was cancelled last summer and we almost lost our money! There were 10 of us. We were able to get some of it back through threats. Use the ship

One suggestion is to establish up front with tour operators what their policy is if your ship doesn't make it into port. Many reputable tour operators realize that problems occasionally occur where ships do not make it and won't charge you....at least that was the case in the Med, and hopefully will be for the ports that the OP is going to.

 

Agree that the Roll Call is a great way to get suggestions...and also the Europe forum.:)
