Ferry from Freeport to Nassau/Paradise

Does anyone know if there are ferries that go from Freeport to Nassau/Paradise Island and how long of a trip it is and how much it costs?

There's just the local interisland system of mailboats ... not expensive, definitely a "local" experience. Will take at least an overnight or most of a day.

 

Best is by air ... but as locals know, you can't trust the schedule.

The trip takes approx. 9 hours.

 

BahamasAir has flights daily, but as Nyloc mentioned, they are not very dependable.

9 hours huh? Wow. Ok I guess I didn't really want to visit Atlantis that bad during my trip to the Bahamas! ha!
