gunner22a Posted January 3, 2008 #1 Share Posted January 3, 2008 I'm a die hard X fan but have only cruised on the M Class ships. I need to get some information on the new balcony cabins at the aft of the ship. I believe that they are now refered to as Sunset Veranda Cabins. Any info from someone that has been in one would be appreciated especially the balcony size. I have been spoiled by the huge aft balconies on my previous cruises. Thanks in advance for any input that you might have.
Karynanne Posted January 3, 2008 #2 Share Posted January 3, 2008 We have always stayed in Aft cabins on the M-Class ships, and did stay in one of the SV's on Mercury last May. Even though the balcony wasn't nearly as large as the one's on M-Class ships, we did enjoy the cabin. Be aware that there is a quite a bit of vibration from the engines, when pulling into a port. This is an issue on all C-Class ships. It doesn't last long, and didn't bother us at all. We cruised on Mercury 6 times, and will again next month, so we're very happy with this ship. Hope this is helpful. Karyn
