padiho Posted January 4, 2008 #1 Share Posted January 4, 2008 Does anyone know if the viewing area is open to the public when the ship comes back in after the cruise? I know people can see you off but on returning from the world cruise I'm not sure if it's open. My grandsons want to meet us when we return and I know they will be the first faces I shall want to see!!!

My grandsons want to meet us when we return and I know they will be the first faces I shall want to see!!! I do not think so. The departure and arrival areas are in different places. I think the first time you can see them would be after you have cleared customs. I doubt if they have staff available for the security checks. :):)Happy Cruising:):) Dai
forest_ Posted January 5, 2008 #3 Share Posted January 5, 2008 I am not sure about the viewing area, a few years back I managed to get a pass to board the Aurora when it returned from a 17 night cruise. But things may have changed now. I wanted to stay on board !!!! :)
