if you booked through the same TA, i would call and talk to them. usually with a large booking the TA will do or arrange something. the other thing, get a hold of the ship's coordinator..see if they will set you up with a meeting room.

since you are within a penalty free cancelation time frame, it might be worth finding a new TA that wants to work with you, and has a clue what is going on.

This is a nice deal. An agent I work with does groups like this and often escorts them, does extra freebies, cocktail hours, perks, etc.

drop me a note at cruisegary at krkms dot com if you want to know more

I have booked all through a TA, but she has not been very helpful. She said she thought it was one free with 8 pax, but she has not mentioned anything else.
She needs to create a grourp for you so you qualify for the free berths, it should be (unless there is a special going on ) one free berth (cruise rate only ,not including ncf, comission, port, tax, fuel etc) for evey 15 double berths (or eight cabins) if you have 53 people in 26 cabins you should qualify for three free beths which come off your total cruise bill (you can choose to apply the savings soley to your own cabin or disperse it between the group).

But that whole thing is moot if she does not create and move you into a group-you get sqaut as it won't be recognized by ncl (which is shameful and or lazy on the TA's part- especially since the group rate is generally lower than the FIT rate) For groups you get points to spend, a good TA will give you the entire list and let you pick what you want a not so honest TA will keep all the points as a bonus comission. Depending on how many points are assigned to your sailing you could range from a $150 per stateroom on board credit to a free bottle of wine per stateroom or a combination of several items, credit, cocktail party, bus etc. It all depends on the amount of points assigned to your sailing. (it is possile there are none) I have the entire list of points and values but don't think I can post it up here. If you email me at morin 10 at charter dot net I will send it to you so when you approach her you will be well armed.

It sounds to me like the TA doesn't have experience with groups and is going about this in the easiest way for her- treating them all as single reservations. That is unfortuneate as you are missing out on a lot of benifits. I would demand that she get it in gear and move you over before it is too late or cancel and rebook with someone that knows what they are doing. In my opinion your needs are not being very well served. :o
