first cruise with Celibrity, did Carnival and Princess before.

I called Celibrity to get a pre-buy of rum bottle for my room, I like to drink in my room a small rum and coke getting prepare for dinner.

The cost of the bottle ...$60.00 ! they give us peanuts with!

on Carnival and Princess I paid like 15.00 to 20.00

Can I just buy a bootle in Miami or Puerto Rico and put it in my luggage?

Not the hand luggage.

Thank you in advance for you advices or comments

No - it is against the rules as spelled out in Celebrity's policy.

You'll find the subject of bringing your own liquor aboard despite that rule is a hot topic in these boards. Some wouldn't think twice and some think it is a moral outrage. You'll also find that the level of search and enforcement of the rule varies significantly with most finding no issue, but some surprised to see their liquor confiscated from both carry-on and checked luggage. So if you choose to bring some on board you could find it confiscated and held for you until it is time to disembark.

Bottom line: it is a moral decision and a roll of the dice.

No Moral Decision here... Bringing a small amount on board shouldn't be a problem if put in your luggage... Yes, you run the risk of it being confiscated but that is a low risk and given the cost of what you'll bring on board vs. what you'll pay on board it is worth it.

I know X has tightened up their rules (you used to be able to have companies such as Just Because Flowers http://justbecause.addictscay.com/ deliver wine and such directly to your cabin, may be worth a quick call to them to confirm what the current policy is) but I just got off a Princess cruise this summer and was pleased that I could pick up wine or scotch in port and bring in on board with no issues.
