Cable Beach hotel for day.. anyone been recently?

have been to Nassau other trips and have not gone to Cable Beach yet. Looking for a nice beach area, with facilities to use, pool would be nice, and hopefully not too many 'beach pests' trying to sell crafts or hair braiders. where would be best??

I stayed at the Wyndham on Cable Beach last February. [url="http://nassau.wyndham-hotels.com/nasbs/index.shtml"]http://nassau.wyndham-hotels.com/nasbs/index.shtml[/url] It has a great pool area, nice beach and is connected to the Crystal Palace Casino. The Radisson is next door and has an even nicer beach. [url="http://www.radisson-cablebeach.com/"]http://www.radisson-cablebeach.com/[/url] Both hotels had a couple of pool bars and had non stop action during the day. There weren’t many “beach pest” in front of the hotels but if you might get swarmed if you stray away from the hotels.

It’s a short ride from down town on the number 10 bus.
