Couple of Questions about the Grandeur

There are a number of us sailing on the 12th of Jan, 08. I have cruised RCI before but only one the larger ships. Does the Grandeur provide robes & fridges in the balcony rooms? This may save some packing for me. I hav looked through the boards but not much on the Grandeur. Thanks for your anticipated response.

Yes, you'll have a fridge, but I'm not sure about the robe. I get one because of my C & A status, so I'm not sure if the balcony rooms get them or not... I'm thinking not until GS or above, but am not sure...

Balcony rooms have fridges. Junior Suites and above, Platinum members and above, receive robes for use onboard. If you are not in those categories, and you ask your cabin steward, it is possible that he/she might be able to provide one, and (In my opinion only) should be tipped accordingly for the service. :) You know what's weird? Every passenger used to receive a robe for use onboard. It is odd that they changed it at some point.

Probably too much laundry!!!! At any rate, you should plan on bringing something small and light, just in case you can't get a robe!

Yeah..that's true. Probably too much laundry, and I am sure a lot of them walked away. It has gone the way of the onboard pajama/toga party....which does seem like an odd concept in this day and age. :)

I seem to remember getting a robe previously ( 2004) but maybe not-- I know I got one on Carnival March of 2007. I organized this cruise and thought I might send my co-cruisers one in the room as a rememberance.
