Porter Tipping

I have read that Disney has "No Tipping" signs when you drop your bags. Will porters still except your tip anyway? Are they expected?

We used the DCL bus from the airport. When we went to the bus the DCL cast members took our bags. Tried to tip them but they adamantly refused.

The porters at the terminal where you drop off your bags do take tips. It is usually a dollar per bag. I have never seen a sign there about no tipping.

That must just be for the cruise buses and they arnt the same as the porters at the terminal.

I am going for the 16th time on the 24th and I will look but I am possitive that I have not seen a sign there before about no tipping.

we always give a dollar per bag

We drove our rent a car up to the loading dock and a porter helped us right away. We tipped him a little more than $1.00 a bag. Ironically the same porter helped us when we got off the boat. I didnt see any signs about no tipping.

Using a porter was the best thing we did! :)
