Bringing drinks on board......

I will be bringing some Pepsi products with us because the last time all they had were Coke products and we prefer Pepsi. Is it better to bring cans or 20 oz. bottles and should we carry them on or will they make it in checked luggage? We are not flying so I don't have that issue, just wondering which would be better. We have a soft sided cooler that I thought about filling and then sticking on a luggage tag, would this be ok?

On most cruise lines, I don't think that bringing a cooler would be a problem. I brought drinks once, but I packed them in my luggage. I think they might have a problem with alcohol, but not with Pepsi.

Pepsi-One is my drink of choice and since the cruise lines offer only coke products, I always take a couple of 6 packs in my checked luggage. For precautionary purposes, I wrap each 6 pack in a 4 gallon garbage bag and double tie it shut.
