On-ship scuba refresher?

My son and I are going diving at least once on our cruise on the emerald Princess March 25. We both need refreshers. I was wondering if there is any chance we could get on-board refreshers in the ship's pool? Maybe the pool isn't deep enough. Are these ever offered on a ship?

I know it's not what you asked, but a few years ago when we were getting back into diving we did a refresher course through our local dive shop before cruising. I would think that would be an easier option to arrange than onboard the ship.

Pricess is not doing ANY scuba classes (refresher or cert.) on its 10 day cruises. I tried to do a refresher in Nov. Kind of dumb if you ask me, since you often have several sea days to do course and pool work.

 

Like Reddi said, try and find a shop near you that will help you out.
