I got a renewal passport done in 10 days.

Ordered mine about a week before Christmas, got it in less than two weeks.

My wife, son & I applied for our 1st passports back in Sept. and paid the excessive 'rush fee' due to trip we took in November.

We got them in less than 2 weeks.

Being early in a year, I would expect the demand to be high. if you can afford the extra $$, do the 'rush thing'.

got mine this Dec in about 2 weeks, Wife applied a week later and it took about 5 weeks.

thanks for the info, we are cruising in April, so I think the standard shipping should be ok, that gives me over 15 weeks for it to get here if I apply this week.

Friends got new ones for 5 family members in 2 1/2 weeks last month.

the long delays that were experienced last summer is over. Shouldn't take anymore than 4 weeks max. Mine took about 10 weeks or so in the middle of the summer rush when everyone was scurrying to get them. They hired extra people and got the backlog handled so there shouldn't be any problems now. But if you wait, you might be sorry.

We applied Thanksgiving week and got them in about 3 weeks.

My husband and daughter got theirs in less than two weeks in September. He's military but it wasn't a military passport.

No regular passport however I probly already got background checked to heck when I did my citzenship in may of 07

They arrived today, as a matter of fact - 12 days, including weekends and holidays!

My mom applied for her family of 3 on 12/31 and got one in the mail yesterday on 1/11.
