News Montego Bay / Ochos Rios damage?

Has anyone heard any news regarding Montego Bay or Ochos Rios storm damage? Wondering if Margaritville is still there. We are scheduled on the 9/19 Conquest, but doubt we will make the stop to both Jamaica and Grand Caymans next week. I think it would be a great experience if Carnival did cruise down there to help for 1 day! Just think if all the cruise passengers volunteered to help and clean-up for 1 day~ how much progress could be made.

there is a message from Carolyn Barrett on the Hurricane Ivan thread. Ocho Rios(which is on the north end of the island)fared better than the towns on the south. I am cruising on 9/26 and am also wondering what ports we will be going to now. I guess I will watch where the boats go for this week and next to get an idea
