Debarkation in New Orleans from the NCL Spirit?

I am not sure if this is helpful, but we sailed from NOLA on the Sun this past March. As I recall everything went pretty quickly. Much better than when we sailed the Spirit out of NYC, which was pure torture. The new cruise terminal in NOLA is very nice and we had no problems boarding or getting off the ship. We got there about 10:30 a.m. and were the very first people on the ship. I don't recall what time they started calling colors, but they did call colors. I would recommend that you take your time and relax, instead of rushing off the ship, if you don't have to run to catch an early flight.

NOLA is one of my favorite places to sail from. Plus they desperately need the tourist dollars. I hope you have a great time!

the express (do-it-self) and early debarking started around 8. about 9:15 they got through that rush and started calling color tags. we got off about 10:15 (orange). the colored tags left in our room on friday night.

i did hear some say they turned their color in for a early time. we were driving, we had all day.
