Super Bowl Sunday

Fantasy Class ships (like the Inspiration) unfortunatly do not have a sports bar like the Conquest and Spirit Class ships. They also do not have an outside big screen at the pool. If I remember right the bar near the casino is where sports are viewed. But vague on memory of it.

At least it is on FOX so you will be able to see it. Don't expect to much.

And yes...that will be formal night.......So you can wear your ball gown and have a ball watching football.......:D :D

When were were on the Triumph a few years ago for the Super Bowl they had Super Bowl stuff going on all day - trivia, games, drink specials. There were several bars that had the game on and they also showed it on the giant screen in the show lounge. Snacks and a bar were set up right there in the show lounge - it was all really convenient.

Our formal night was also supposed to be on Sunday - but they moved it to Monday so that everyone could enjoy the game.

I guess each ship is different - but the Triumph threw a heck of a party!!

Our first sea day on the Inspiration will be on Super Bowl Sunday. I'm assurming they will have a big party with a wide screen tv. It is a five day cruise. Isn't formal night on the first sea day?

I'm not sure how the Fantasy class ships do Super Bowl, but in 2005 I was on the Spirit for Super Bowl. They had a huge screen in the big show lounge and showed the game there. There were also lots of really good complimentary finger foods. Alcoholic drinks were extra, of course.

On the Fantasy they had a projector TV set up in one of the lounges and a large movie screen for the opening Saints game, so surely they can do at least that. Lots of free football food, too! A lot of people didn't even bother going to dinner.

Yep, on our cruise Dec 06, the Fantasy held a huge "football" party for the Saints in the main theater (and the Saints won) yea!!!

We were on the Glory last year for Super Bowl Sunday and they had a huge screen in the main lounge for everyone to watch. Fans of one team sat on the right and the other team's fans sat on the left. Here is a picture. Not sure how the Fantasy class ships show the Super Bowl. Hope you get to sit in the main lounge like we did. Formal night is usually the first sea day but because of the Super Bowl being on the first sea day, our formal night was moved to the next night. Have a great cruise!! Travelgirl

Looks like a blast!

GO GIANTS!

(but I will be watching from my den, with fire place cranking, rather than from a cruise ship! )

We were on Glory last year and on Sensation (Fantasy Class) for super bowl 2005 and on both cruises they had the large screen in the show room plus food set up like a tailgate party, alot of fun. Last year on Glory they moved formal night to the next day. Enjoy your cruise.
