Can you walk to Atlantis from Port?

If you are looking for the exercise...the water taxi leaves you a couple of blocks from Atlantis so you still get the cardio time ;)

It takes you to the foot of the bridge from the main land to Paradise Island vs the taxi that dumps you at the front door.

I would guess it is about 2 miles to the bridge. The bridge is probably less than a mile. From there it is less than a mile to the hotel.

Best guess is 4 miles. Maybe 5. The only thing is, from the Port, until you turn to get on the bridge, the neighborhood is a bit dicey. The sidwalks are not existant, and I would not walk it alone.

The bridge, and the other side would make for a nice walk though. far but nice.

The water taxi departs from near the cruise terminal. You do have to clear through the terminal to get to the departure point. Ask anyone working there. As stated previously, it takes you to near the Paradise Island ferry terminal on the island side of the PI Bridge. From there you still have to walk about 3 blocks to the Atlantis complex.

One way to walk over the bridge without having to walk TO the bridge would be to take any eastbound jitney bus traveling along Bay Street. Tell the driver when you get on that you'd like to be dropped off at the PI Bridge. The jitney is $1.00 per person, paid when you exit. You can then take the sidewalk over the bridge. Great opportunity for photographs of the ships in the harbour that you can't get anywhere else.
