Clarkk W Griswald Posted January 14, 2008 #1 Share Posted January 14, 2008 Can 18 year olds get into nightclubs on AOS? I know 2 years ago my son was 18 and could get into clubs, but that's when they allowed 18-20 year olds to drink with parental permission. Now that the drinking age is 21, do you have to be 21 to get into the clubs? He will be 20 when we cruise next month and would love to go to the clubs with his 22 year old sister and her 23 year old fiance. If they allow the 18-20 year olds in the clubs, how do they keep them from drinking?
bplazo Posted January 14, 2008 #2 Share Posted January 14, 2008 My daughter was 18 on our last cruise and she was able to get into the clubs. They have holes punched in the seapass card. I think it is something like one hole they can drink, two holes they cannot.
Sue L Posted January 14, 2008 #3 Share Posted January 14, 2008 My son 19 was able to go in in August with his sister who was 21. He had a hole in his card and his whole card was different.
Clarkk W Griswald Posted January 14, 2008 Author #4 Share Posted January 14, 2008 Thanks, I completely forgot about the hole punches on the seapass cards. He will be glad to know he can get into the clubs with his sister and won't have to hang out with us old folks! (That makes us glad, too);)
