Scorpiorose Posted January 15, 2008 #1 Share Posted January 15, 2008 ...so it sound like a big overwhelming vote of confidence for Jolly Rogers Snorkel tour huh? I looked at the web site and there is a cruise at 9:30 am, our ship docks at 8. Does anyone know is that local or ship time? Is there a difference? Has anyone gotten sea sick? Arubalisa Posted January 15, 2008 #2 Share Posted January 15, 2008 Out of the 15+ Caribbean cruises I have been on the cruise ship has always been on local time. An hour and a half should give you plenty of time to get there by taxi. In the couple of years reading this forum, I do not recall anyone ever mentioning getting seasick on the Jolly Pirates. SittinUnderAPalmTree Posted January 19, 2008 #7 Share Posted January 19, 2008 Yep, definitely Jolly Pirates and it's the BEST snorkeling tour you will find in Aruba. I've done it 5 of the 8 times I've been there and will do it again this August. Highly recommended!
SeaYa52 Posted January 21, 2008 #8 Share Posted January 21, 2008 We will be in Aruba in April on the Westerdam. Because of the late arrival (11am) we can not take the morning tour. Carla with JP suggested the afternoon tour which hits the same snorkel spots but skips the BBQ LUNCH. No problem with that - but how is the afternoon snorkeling? Normally, I prefer morning dives or snorkel - due to visability and winds picking up later. Has anyone done this adternoon trip? Would appreciate any feedback. thanks, Sandy
