ELECIA Posted January 15, 2008 #2 Share Posted January 15, 2008 What was it before? I hope they didn't change the weight limit as well! As it is, we often have to pay that surcharge because we overstuff one of our suitcases. I guess we should just weigh them before we leave... CruzVinnieCruz Posted January 15, 2008 #5 Share Posted January 15, 2008 The weight limit is 50 pounds and there is an overall size limit. I think it's 62 inches which is computed by adding the length, width, and height together.
rodder1971 Posted January 16, 2008 #6 Share Posted January 16, 2008 Used to be three. Now it is two per person. No more than 50 lbs apiece. 62 inches, that is legnth plus width, plus height.

I fly SW all the time ... usually once or twice a month, and I always thought it was two anyway! Can you still pay $50 for an extra bag?
