Question about past guest history!

Perhaps this is a dumb question, but I don't know. The joke with my family is that I want to be Platinum by the time I'm 30. I'm up to three cruises at 24, but leave in 15 days for my fourth. However, the fourth is a contracted out cruise. Will this count in my Cruising history with Carnival towards Platinum? (Yes, I'm a geek).

I would think any cruise will count as long as they are using you past guest number. if you get a gold ss card I bet it will count. My last cruise I was on I went down to the casino and saw the Platinum guest list. It was over 2 pages long.

I would go down to the pursers desk and take your past guest number -- I would have to believe that they can count it towards it? Or call Carnival before you go and make sure :) All cruises should count.

edit: Just saw your post -- nothing to worry about I should think :)

Sorry to have to ask this, but how many levels of past guests are there?.

This February will be my 5th or 6th Carnival cruise, but unfortunately, some of my early cruises were taken in the early 80's.

Are there any way to get credit for those cruises? (Mardi Gras, twice, and Festivale twice)

Thanks in advance for any help!

You would need to prove to Carnival that you were on those cruises. They usually ask that you FAX them proof like an embarkation photo with your name on it or an old boarding pass or sail and sign cards. We just had a paper boarding pass (no sail and sign card) in 1985 but in 1987 we had a paper sail and sign card. I was able to fax my PVP boarding photos and she added my 2 cruises to my cruise history with no problems.
