Deck Six (6) on the Sovereign of the Seas

How are the rooms on deck six (6) on the Sovereign? Any noise problems or lots of motion?

I was in 6050 and the only problem was when people would jog on the 7th deck. You could hear them thump everytime they ran by. Of course, they weren't allowed to jog till after 10am.....

If they were allowed, I never noticed. I think most of the jogging was done in the late morning. Other than that, the rooms aren't that bad. Have a great cruise, we'll be on her again March 7th and May 9th.... :)

Wow, lucky you! I've been on the Majesty and Monarch, but we had lower decks.

first time posting here but hope deck 6 is okay we sail Feb 4th....this will be our second time on this same ship we sailed 4yrs ago and had a wonderful time!!!:) can't remember what deck we were on before

Hi. Just got back Monday. Our room on Deck 6 was fine--very clean (GREAT cabin steward). We had a little water overflow after showers, but it went away quickly.

 

The seas were pretty rough the first night and despite taking Meclizine, I got seasick. I heard the next day that many people did, and the crew even mentioned that it was rougher than normal. The seas were calm the rest of the time, though, and like glass in Cococay...barely felt any motion while anchored. I felt better in the room than on the higher decks...there was some side-to-side motion.

 

We heard some jogging above once or twice, but it was mid-day, so no problem.
