Crown 12/7/08 sold out?

I can't seem to find it on any internet TAs. it's listed, but no price, at the official Princess site. at other sites it is just missing, or no price.

 

maybe it's just for the weekend.

 

please help repair my marriage and answer this query. thanks. :mad:

I thought I read in a thread that the Crown was in dry dock for two weeks in Dec.?

i think i read somewhere here it was cancelled due to dry dock, not sure if it's just that and the week after or longer...

I called Princess last week to make reservations and the Crown will be in drydock the month of December. She will sail for Christmas. I was not happy about this!

yes, i just noticed that the 12/14/08 sailing is disappearing too. why now? and why the sudden drydock in December? of course the get it out in time for the big-bucks Christmas week cruise...

Planning a drydock takes more than being able to just drive the ship into the nearest shipyard and get it "fixed." The cruiseline has to determine first what needs to be done and find a shipyard with the capability, and slot in their schedule, to complete the work. Chances are that Princess was finally able to schedule a shipyard to do the work, hence the change in schedule.
