joanne59 Posted April 28, 2008 #684 Share Posted April 28, 2008 The video was great, we loved all the views of the back section of the ship because we were lucky enough to have booked an aft cabin for our TA in November. Long time to wait, but it will be worth it.

I think was only 3, and that was a 12 day cruise. You can call the C and A and they should be able to tell you. Have a good one, Franca
CRUISEMAMI Posted April 28, 2008 #687 Share Posted April 28, 2008 Great pictures and video links (though some links do not work for us across the pond). Found more pictures and a write-up in the Southampton Daily Mail website (from Friday). Not sure which link will work best: http://www.southamptonuk.com/ Then click on: “Not much a cruise liner, more a floating town” Or a direct link: http://www.southamptonuk.com/external.php?lu=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.dailymail.co.uk%2Fpages%2Flive%2Farticles%2Fnews%2Fnews.html%3Fin_article_id%3D562080%26amp%3Bin_page_id%3D1770&ln=Not+so+much+a+cruise+liner%2C+more+a+floating+town&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.southamptonuk.com&rn=News The comments seem interesting! We are very excited and only have 49 days left. Wish it could come quicker! We envy all who can enjoy the festival this weekend and get to leave this coming week. Have fun!:D Thank you for the link!!!!!!!!

james_19742000 Posted April 28, 2008 #689 Share Posted April 28, 2008 Be sure to post your pictures:D I wish I could!!! The diversion we were planning on making was going to plan to get to Hythe to view and photograph Indy, but then the bus we were moving broke down outside the The Priory Clinic on the road from Totton to Hythe, so we ended up stranded in a layby for a few hours whilst recovery was being sorted etc, but we heard the fireworks about 10pm!!!!! I shall just have to wait til Friday to see and board her! Apologies for the lack of pics. James
barbarah33 Posted April 28, 2008 #690 Share Posted April 28, 2008 On my 8-night cruise we had 2 formal nights. (Same as a 7-night; the second and second-to-last nights.) I would think yours will be the same unless they decide to change something for New Year's Eve.

Just burstin to get on that boat ! I see you are from the Emerald Isle - do you know of any good places to see and do in Cork? Can I also ask - how did you get to be on the two day trip you are on? Was it advertised or were you selected - or what? Have a great time Kev & Ali
