Thanks for the Compass scans. We are on the ship Friday for the four day cruise to Cork and back.

Just burstin to get on that boat !

I see you are from the Emerald Isle - do you know of any good places to see and do in Cork?

Can I also ask - how did you get to be on the two day trip you are on?

Was it advertised or were you selected - or what?

Have a great time

Hi there I got off yesterday afternoon. I was on as part of the Press/Media and Travel trade event. We boarded at 1145am on Sunday and got off yesterday. Was great.

As for Cork you can take the train from beside the ship to ''Cork'' then the city center is a 10 mins walk along the Quay. Im not from Cork but have been there a few times. Its a nice city and everything is compact. I would just take a stroll around and dont miss the English Market.

I was down in Southampton Monday to see the Independent of the Seas, so I thought I would post a couple of photos of her.

Fabulous pics!!

I cant wait to see RCCL give P&O a run for their money. P&O have had the monopoly for too long here, and standards have slipped. Maybe this will make them sharpen their act and bring back some of the old standards P&O were once famous for.

We are P&O old timers who wont return.. perhaps a bit of competition is just what they need:)

thankyou Phillip for posting the link ( remember me ? , we sailed Voyager together,:)

John and I will be on her with Lisa-UK on 27th August.

Let me add my thanks as well, Phillip. They are great photos.

I got to see Independence in Southampton when Brilliance docked after the transatlantic crossing. It looks fantastic. I will be on Independence for both transatlantic crossings in 2009
