poohs4me Posted January 22, 2008 #1 Share Posted January 22, 2008 I was looking at some options and am wondering - how does it work. The packages I have been seeing all have the option of photographer, 2 witnesses and officiant - not counting bride and groom, but the helicopter's only seat 4 to 6. Do they actually plan for more than one helicopter. I would have thought they would clarify this Anyone know? Thanks.
Budget Queen Posted January 22, 2008 #2 Share Posted January 22, 2008 You need to get this answer direct from the operator. They can pick up and drop off several helicopter loads of people. But get the numbers from them.
love2cruise2newhere Posted January 23, 2008 #3 Share Posted January 23, 2008 We are planning a glacier weddinng, but it will just be the two of us. I was under the impression that you have to tell them how many people so they can plan accordingly. If you look at alaskaweddings.net there is a picture with a family (5 people) on the glacier. Threre also a picture with 3 couples who got married at the same time. I'm glad there are some more Alaska brides in the boards. yeah!:)
Jsipes Posted January 24, 2008 #4 Share Posted January 24, 2008 I have flown to Mendenhal Glacier twice, and there was always people already on the Glacier at a "base" camp.....so they will probably hsve people there who are witnesses, etc. Have a wonderful wedding:)
