I just got off the Enchantment yesterday. There are a lot of things to do-depending on your interests. It would be a great choice for a first time cruisers. The ship is in very good condition and is tastfully decorated. What questions do you have?

The Enchantment is a beautiful ship which was made even nicer a few years ago when it was stretched. It will not have the Royal Promenade or the Ice Skating rink that you would have had on the Mariner, but it is unique in having bungee trampolines on the outer deck, forward and has a rock wall. The solarium has a retractable roof, which the Mariner does not. If you qualify for concierge lounge access (Diamond or Diamond Plus members, or booked in a suite) the CL is one of the nicest in the fleet. We sailed on the Enchantment in December and had a fantastic cruise. There were plenty of onboard activities and entertainment to fill your time aboard ship. Unless you really need all the bells and whistles that you would find on the larger ships, you should be very happy on Enchantment of the Seas.:)

Let me say this..I sailed on the EOS in Dec 2007, came home and booked it again for Nov 2008!! :) That should tell you it is a great ship/crew/cruise!! I had a great time. There are two pools on the pool deck, one is salt water, the other is fresh water. Then there is the solarium that has a retractable roof! It is very nice and is adults only. It also has two big hottubs. The ship is very clean and the crew was great!! I ordered one drink on one night and after that the member knew my name and would say hi to me by name the rest of the cruise. The dining room is very nice too; it has two levels. They had a midnight chocolate buffet towards the end of the cruise. At lunch try the pasta bar in the dining room, you can get any kind of pasta you want made right there for you, it was delicious! One of the best meals I had onboard. The casino has one night that is totally smoke free, that was cool. The champagne bar is always smoke free. I had an OV cabin on deck 3 and it had a small couch and tons of storage space. The entire cruise was really smooth as we visited Grand Cayman and Ocho Rios. In Grand Cayman we went to Seven Mile Beach, loved it, the water is so clear! Ocho Rios I slept in..lol..

Hope this helps but there is nothing to complain about from me, this was a great cruise and I look forward to going on her again but this time to Key West, Cozumel, and Belize.

I have sailed the Enchantment 3 times...the last one in November. I was on for the "disaster" cruise where the a/c went out, lol. I have also sailed the Voyager, Mariner, Navigator and Freedom. Next week...Liberty! Having said that, I love all the craziness on the big ships. I love the Promenade, the gym, the ice show, etc. However, for a short cruise the Enchantment is great fun. The staff has always been superb. Much better than that tub, the Sovereign. Check out Patrice in the piano bar...he's great! The only negative is that there aren't a lot of opportunities to dance. More venues on the bigger ships. You'll still have a great time!!

I am so happy to hear one of them is freshwater, which one? I will be sailing in 9 days!!!!!!!!

Okay it is one of the two that are up on the pool deck..I cannot remember which, if it was forward or aft but here is how I can tell you which it was...if you are up on deck there is a pool bar on one side of the pools. If you are standing by the bar (that is on the side of the pools) facing the pools, the pool on the right is the fresh I believe. The one farthest away from the kids thing that squirts water..lol..I know, makes no sense now but it may when you are onboard. I can see it in my mind but cannot tell you exactly, how about you take me with you and I can just SHOW you??..lol..;)

Enchantment is a real nice ship.

We are planning another cruise on her again later this year.;)

We have always sailed Voyager and Freedom Class ships and were not sure if we would like a smaller ship or not.

The ship and the ship's staff and service won us over the first day and enjoyed the cruise very much and hated to leave the ship.

We actually liked the service and staff better on our Enchantment cruise than our Mariner cruise.;)

Bob:)

just off the EOS last week, I recomend the ship and it's crew but not the dinning room. please go back and read my review on page two, I posted it today. The solarium pool is salt water the other two pools and wading pool are all fresh water and their are 6 jacuzzis by the main pools . This is a more laid back cruise but that means less Kids which was fine by me, The casino is smaller , but the buffet is actually the best I have ever had.. I prefered the Windjammer Cafe to the dinning room. They have pool barbaques everyday too, and the frozen drinks are awsome, I really enjoyed this ship it was smaller and more intimate I felt, If you can book a suite , go for it, the Concierge Lounge is worth the extra by itself

i just got off a Back to back...the dining room was excellent as were our servers....the buffet was very good most of the time....the food at the pool bbqs was, imo, over cooked and pretty bad.

we had an aft Junior suite the 1st leg on deck 7 and it was so noisy during karaoke that we wound up moving....(security came up several times)

long story short, we had a lot of issues with guest relations, shore excursion staff and getting off the ship and onto the tenders...the only reason we didn't bail on the 2nd leg was, honestly, the dining room.

to top it all of, the loyalty ambassodor screwed up my 2 on-board bookings! and it still hasn't been worked out!

it's a nice enough ship, but i would only go back if i got a super cheap deal and if my dining team was still around.

We'll be on the Enchantment in 2 weeks for the Belize/Cozumel/Key West route. Can anyone recommend excursions in Belize and Cozumel? We're mainly looking for beach and snorkel information. And any suggestions for places to visit/avoid for shopping!

Thanks :-)
