How far is Dunn's Falls from Ochios rios?

Hi, we will be stopping in Jamaica and will my first time. I want to see the falls, but dont want to spend a lot of time there. So was thinking of just going and taking a few pics, then heading to Margaritaville in Ocho for the day. Does anyone know how far the falls is from Margaritaville?

Its not far. there is an admission charge...I think $10 or $15, can't remember now. I don't think its what you think it is based on you just wanting to go take pictures and leave. Its not a falls that you can get a picture of in just one or two spots. Only a small part of the falls is visible at at one point. If you are not going to climb the falls, its not worth the ride over just to take pictures. The draw of the falls is the abilty to climb up it. Its not that scenic in and off itself because of the way its shaped.

 

Also, keep in mind that there are tons of people climbing up it at any point in time, so its not like a good nature sort of picture in and of itself.

DRF is definitely worth the trip if you have never done it, but it is not a good idea to try to walk there. It can be done, but there are no 'sidewalks' and traffic can be crazy along the highway.
