DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THERE ARE ANY AREAS WHERE YOU HAVE OUTSIDE ACCESS TO SMOKE. i REMEMBER APPOX 5 YEARS AGO AT DELTA THERE WAS A DOOR THAT OPPENED TO AN OUTSIDE AREA WHICH HAD SPACE FOR MAYBE 5 SMOKERS AT A TIME. AND DOES ANYONE KNOW OF ONE NEAR AIR TRAN?

nope. you have to go outside, through secruity. at least we can breath fresh, smoke-free jet exhaust now.

Air Tran used to have a smoking room, but this was several years ago & might have changed. Have you called airtran and asked? They don't make it easy anymore.

Most airports are completely smoke-free environments now-a-days.

Just flew home from FLL and the only place to smoke is outside either by baggage claim or by check in. You'll have to go through security if you leave to smoke.
