Last night's news re: Star

I didn't hear it myself because I was doing some work, but Annette said they had a story on the news about the Star and the fact that she hasn't been able to go to Fanning Island because of the pod or whatever and apparently a bunch of people are all upset because they got passports and now don't need them.

I think people want some compensation. At least some people do. My response when she told me that was that if they did go to Fanning, there would be people complaining about that (as they always did). Can't make everyone happy. At least you all here on the boards are making the most of the changes and arming yourself with some good info.

Spleen or Suebee...did you hear the story?

Are you kidding??? Having been on THe Star a week ago when you all posted this message, I can't imagine anyone expecting compensation when we had such a wonderful itinerary. And, yes, we were among those so disappointed at not making Fanning Island. But, ncl does reserve the right to change the itinerary, and what a lovely change it was!
