AEDEMS Posted January 26, 2008 #1 Share Posted January 26, 2008 I have been on a cruise before but never to Canada which is where I am going in October. What should I bring to make the trip even better? :)
KCcruisin07 Posted February 2, 2008 #2 Share Posted February 2, 2008 Well, Mahreeya has quite an exhaustive thread further down on the page. I think you could go through that and pick out what is important for you. For Canada in October, I would add long johns 'cause the deck will probably be chilly! Have a great time!! sillylizzie Posted February 10, 2008 #3 Share Posted February 10, 2008 A camera would be #1 on my list followed by a wind breaker/rain jacket. :)
fuzzywuzzy Posted February 19, 2008 #4 Share Posted February 19, 2008 Sunscreen, Imodium, Gravol, small flashlight, sanitizing wipes for the room handles, etc. Definitely a shawl, sweater, etc as it can get chilly on deck early in the morning. Sherry Baby Posted February 23, 2008 #5 Share Posted February 23, 2008 We went to Alaska (Aug.'06)- the best choice we made was having a two layer parka. The outside is a windbreaker, the inside is fleece. Either part can be worn separately, or together they made a great combo. Hood is there, or can be folded up inside the collar. The outside is rainproof. I got one on sale at Dick's for $49. Husband paid $99 for his. We use it here in upstate NY, but also while camping in cooler months. Steviewonder1 Posted July 25, 2008 #7 Share Posted July 25, 2008 A pocket poncho in case the weather changes while on shore. Ran 5 blocks back to ship in Quebec City when a cloudburst dumped. Was a wet thing boarding.. Good Luck
