Tendering on Alaska Cruise

We are doing a southbound cruise with Princess Sapphire in July 2008. Can anyone tell me if all of the ports in Alaska (Juneau, Ketchikan and Skagway) are tender ports or will we be able to just walk off the ship to sightsee?

we have the same itinerary and we dock at all of them.I think it depends on how many ships are in port, and which ones get priority.

I was on the same ship southbound last August. We just walked off the ship in all the ports.

No fair!! You guys are lucky. Golden has to tender in Ketchikan. But, even if you do, it generally is not too bad. I had to tender into Juneau in 2005 and it didn't take long either direction.

You will dock in Juneau and Skagway. Not sure about Ketchikan.
