Wrap for strapless dress

I bought this dress...couldn't resist the sale. I have a question about a wrap....do I go with a black silk chiffon, black silk charmeuse, or a sheer black with some beading?

Something plain--no beading. The white "criss-cross" effect on the dress is enough--you don't need any more focal points!

You may not even need a wrap, unless you're going out on deck.

Actually, it's not white...it's more of a champagne color. I'm always cold in the dining room and theater, so I will definitely need something over my shoulders.

Personnally, I don't think I would go with something sheer but I am not expert.

I don't know what wrap would look the best, but I do love the dress! If you have photos taken, please don't cover it up. I understand if you get cold in the dining room, but the dress is a stand out all by itself.

I would take the dress along shopping and see what fabrics and colors look good with it.

 

I personally would try for a wrap to pick up the cream, not the black. Maybe one with a black trim.

I would love to pick up the cream, but since I live in an area that has no decent stores, I have to order something online. Maybe I could order a few and pick the color that looks better with the cream and return the rest.

There is a store on ebay called Mclady Collections where I found some awesome velvet burnout shawls. May be too gaudy for you, just right for me. You could look anyway.
