We brought a couple small soft toys (we had a dragonfly he loved) and that was about it. If he/she can crawl, you might want to bring a small blow up ball, but you shouldn't need much. My kids at that age like anything that was crunchy...does that make sense? I remember the stroller bar that I had attached could also be attached to a car seat carrier.
