2muchfreetime Posted January 29, 2008 #1 Share Posted January 29, 2008 I will be on The Mariner of the Seas in November and would like to go deep sea fishing. If I catch fish what do I do with them?

2muchfreetime Posted January 30, 2008 Author #3 Share Posted January 30, 2008 Do you think they would want the fish? Don't they fish all the time?
IBSaling Posted January 30, 2008 #4 Share Posted January 30, 2008 They usually can sell it to a restaurant if they don't want to eat it themselves. Consider it an added tip.
MEcruzr Posted January 30, 2008 #5 Share Posted January 30, 2008 Let them know ahead of time that you won't be keeping any of the fish you catch. Offer the catch to the crew. I've never had them say no. They bring the fish home or they can sell it. If you're sharing the charter with other sports, offer it to them. I did this in Clearwater one time. I took my son fishing... we shared the charter with two men. At the end of the day the crew was cleaning the fish and putting it into two piles. I offered our fish to the other sports because we were in a hotel and couldn't really keep it. The crew suggested that we take just enough for two meals and bring it to the diner on the pier... they cooked it for us. It was the best fish I ever ate! If those men hadn't wanted it, I would have offered it to the crew, then the captain. Where will you be fishing???
