What do you know about the Persian Gardens on Millenium?

Somebody posted that a pass is sold for the Persian Gardens. What exactly is the Persian Gardens? If you have purchased a pass, do you feel that it was worth the cost? Thanks~

Just got back off Infinity (14 day awesome S. America cruise). We didn't opt to purchase the Persian Garden pass (I believe it's $30 pp per day) as people we met in the Martini Bar thought it was a bit of a rip off. The Persian Garden is a retreat area right off the spa. Has sauna, steam room, heated chairs, showers etc. I understand that the warm tile chairs are upright, don't recline and not very comfortable, peaceful yes but so is the adult/thalasotherapy pool area. Also, Infinity had a sauna in the ladies room off the spa that was complimentary.

If you're really curious about the Persian Gardens go down the the first day and ask if you can look at the area. Generally the first afternoon (embarkation day) and evening it is not in use and is open for tours and inspection. If you think you're interested ask if you can pay for a day and have it applied to a cruise rate if you like it.

 

We've looked at it and it doesn't appeal much to us - but know many others who love the area.

 

If you like spa time in general and are not familiar with the spa features on board then you'll definitely want to go to the spa and ask for a tour - it is a great thing to do while exploring the ship on embarkation day. Frankly it is as much of a sales tool for the spa as it is a "tour" but that's OK if what you want is to know about the services they offer.

Thanks for your info. I don't really use the steam or sauna when I go to a spa ~ other than that and the showers and heated chairs that alwayshappytocruise mentioned, is there anything else? It sounds like it is just an area with basically the normal things that any spa has. A tour sounds like a good idea to check it out.
