What is the scenery like? Will we get close to any glaciers? How about seeing sea otters? Also, what are the chances for newbie kayakers, like us, to tip over? Thanks for your response. Trudy No glaciers here that I am aware of. We did not see otters, but were delighted to encounter a group of sealions that played around the kayaks...spyhopping and posing for pictures:) Also a nice variety of birds (eagles, loons, interesting sea ducks). As already mentioned, usual sightings are some birds. It is "green" scenery, frankly, not anything real special in overall Alaska.
