kmch Posted February 2, 2008 #1 Share Posted February 2, 2008 If the departure time is listed as 4PM, what is the earliest time that you'd be allowed to get on the ship at embarkation? Thanks
riddle Posted February 2, 2008 #2 Share Posted February 2, 2008 It will be listed on your EDocs. We just got ours. Our departure is 5:00 and it says we can board at 12:00 In the past we have gotten on a little before the boarding time. I think it just depends on how debarkation went on the previous cruise, etc.
salty dingo Posted February 2, 2008 #3 Share Posted February 2, 2008 That's correct - boarding begins when the ship is ready to receive passengers. Noon is probably a good estmate but it could be a few minutes sooner. It may vary somewhat from sailing to sailing.
zqvol Posted February 2, 2008 #4 Share Posted February 2, 2008 If the departure time is listed as 4PM, what is the earliest time that you'd be allowed to get on the ship at embarkation? Thanks Typically sometime between 11 and 12. Circumstances may dictate a later time but not earlier.
jetskier Posted February 2, 2008 #5 Share Posted February 2, 2008 Usually most ports of call start processing (check-in) at around 10:45-11am. Actual boarding times varies because of delays with Customs and passengers getting off the ship. In most cases boarding the ship starts at 11:30am-12pm. Keep in mind that NCL now requires that you be checked in TWO hours before sailaway time due to new Homeland Security rules. Dave
