Dining on Carnival Spirit

Anyone know about formal nights on Spirit? Can you choose not to go to formal nights? What are the options? My husband hates formal nights, 10 year old son wouldn't be crazy about them either!

Your other options are the buffet or pizza or room service. Even the supper clubs are formal on formal night.

Now a days they're not going to ban you from the dining room if you don't have formal wear on! Just wear something nice. If your husband has just a jacket he can wear that. If he doesn't, a polo shirt with dockers will do. Been on many Carnival ships (9 cruises with them) and have seen all sorts of clothes in the dining room on formal night. Just go and enjoy the lobster on 2nd formal night!
