I sailed on both her and her twin, the Island, and I totally agree with you -- very nice ships, indeed. Great size, and the officers and staff always seemed to friendly and happy to be onboard. I really miss those two ships . . .

It was in the 1970's when I and five girl friends were on ship.

We were allowed to wander around there were just a few crew on board. We had a wonderful afternoon dancing in the little cocktail lounge, and it was very small.it was a lovely day and we all sunned out on deck.

Also went around to see the cabins...All towels had the Princess logo on them.Hum one washcloth went missing.;)

She was a delightful ship .Had a cosy feeling about her.

I am going to love the DVD.......:)

I was about 8 years old when the show was on, but I knew I wanted to hang out with Julie in the Pirate's Cove

WHERE IS SHE NOW: After her much publicized addiction problems

Lauren got sober. A move to Seattle helped with this and she

became a cheese steward following her completion of culinary

arts studies.

Unfortunately it is not the entire season one being released. It is only half. It is scheduled to come out in 2 volumes.

But I'm excited its coming to DVD. I used to love watching the show on Friday nights.......just a kid dreaming of that cruise life.........

When we were in Vegas last month we played "The Love Boat" slot game. It is a ton of fun and the bonus levels are a blast plus the play the show theme song. The bonus rounds involve a invitation to the captains table, date with the doctor and Gopher's pick up line challenge.

I have never seen it on any of the Princess ships which is a mistake I think because I think they would be popular. Besides what is up with the a whole row of Titanic slot machines?
