CruseKrazy Posted February 9, 2008 #1 Share Posted February 9, 2008 Some of the other boards have picked this story up so I thought I would raise it here. US Customs and Border Protection is setting to more strictly enforce the cabotage laws which require that a forein flagged vessel spend at least 48 hours away and visit several foreign ports in between two sucessive US ports of call. Some feel this could kill the Hawaian and Alaska cruise industry as well as eventually affect some cruises out of Florida. RCI has a lot riding on this. Cuizer2 Posted February 9, 2008 #2 Share Posted February 9, 2008 Why not direct everyone to this thread ... http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=687517 It already has over 900 posts and it is in a neutral section of the board (not one of the cruise line forums).
