Is a Visa required to visit Fanning Island??

I was just looking at the State Department's web site and they show Kiribati as requiring a visa as well as a passport. I can't find any reference to this in NCL's paperwork or web site. Maybe the cruise line passengers are exempt?? Thanks, Colette

You don't need a visa, but you DO need a valid passport, or you will not be allowed to board in Honolulu if you are visiting Fanning Island, Republic of Kiribati.
